+394 Why is it called Teen Mom and not Teen Parents? The guys have to deal with being a young parent, too. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because the moms are the ones who are constantly being followed by MTV's camera crew. The fathers usually aren't as involved.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because most of the dads leave.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Cause the dad is usually: a. In prison b. A complete dickweed c. All coked up or d. All of the above.

@1168164 (NoImNotHittingOnYou): @1168179 (Mister_BleuSkye): Not really true. From Season One's cast, Maci and Ryan did break up but they share a healthy joint custody; Farrah's boyfriend died in a car accident; Catelynn and Tyler are still together; and Amber lost custody of her kid to the father, Gary. From Season Two's cast, Leah and Corey are together and getting married, and the other three the fathers left. So, in only 3 out of 8 couples, the father is out of the picture. And in one of the couples, the mother is out of the picture.

You actually watch that show?

Why do you have a comma separating parent and too?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's grammatically correct.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Can you explain why? I am not chewing anybody out. I just want to know why it is ok.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't know why it is, but since elementary school I've been taught that you always have to put a comma before too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Interesting, I believe you are right, too. lol thanks. You learn something every day.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You use a comma before "too" when it is in the middle or end of the sentence and being used as "also." Examples: I, too, like cookies. OR I like cookies, too. It requires a comma so as to not risk ambiguity of the word or phrase it is modifying.

Thanks, I also looked the rule up on Google and you are right. Thanks again.

Because it sounds better.
