+500 Do you ever wonder that maybe a few hundred or thousand years ago someone messed up the date by accident? I mean, say today is supposedly Wednesday, but maybe it's actually supposed to be Thursday, amirite?

But... Rebecca Black knows what day it is.... YESTERDAY WAS THURSDAY, THURSDAY TODAY IS FRIDAY, FRIDAY TOMORROW IS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY COMES AFTERWARDS

Someone would have reminded him what day it actually was.

Actually on history channel they have shows about how the date really is wrong by 3 years or so thats why 2012 probably wont happen, because it already has...

Yeah plus there's the fact that the Romans just decided to add two months to calendar so who knows what was really going on...

Was just about to post this. Whatever monk recorded the dates of stuff around the year 0 seriously screwed it up, but it took a while for them to figure it out.

How could somebody mess it up for the whole world? No one single person was in charge of keeping time for the whole entire population of the Earth.

Can't wait until I become International Calendar and Clock Keeper. Imma mess shit up for all of you.

As someone already said, there wasn't one person in charge of that and someone would have noticed. But also, what days of the week are called is a human made construct. Even if someone did fuck up, it wouldn't matter. It wouldn't suddenly change the day of the week, we'd be like "Oh, I guess they used to do it different. Well this is how we do it now."

Time is subjective.

There is a theory that this has already happened, some people think that a king in the 1200s (I think) wanted to rule on a significant date so he had his chroniclers make up like 200+ years that never happened, and it's actually the 1700s currently, but there is no way to prove of disprove the theory apparently.
