+222 The whole "Charlie Sheen is my hero" thing is really stupid. I mean what did he do other than get addicted to drugs and get fired from possibly the easiest job. He made 1.5 million dollars for a 30 minute show and lost it all! amirite?

yes, he did get fired from an easy job, because he was just being himself on that show. he made it succesful, no one else. now everybody wants to rip on him. it was ok if he acted that way on a sitcom but acting that way in real life he's an ass. But that asshole made 20 million dollars in a little over a week for just being himself. why do people care. maybe mel gibson should take notes

He's still not a good person. Drugs or no. And it was stupid of him for doing what he did. He shouldn't be anyone's hero or example. Not even the sitcom him. But I can't deny that he is hilarious.

He didn't lose all that money they still have to pay him for syndication on other channels so he pretty much just a genius.

There's actually negotiation to get him back onto the show now. It wasn't the head of the corporation that had fired him, but those are the ones who want Sheen back.

Ok, with all due respect acting is NOT an easy job. Even if you're not playing a complicated part. You have to memorize it, try everything 100 different ways until the director says it's good, work out blocking and deal with other actors. Film is even more complicated. You need to makes sure you're not blocking off the audience, do 500 takes even if the first one was great, and memorize a lot of lines in a short period of time. Sorry for the rant, I act...

(Sure...): *Camera, not audience. Unless it has a live audience, in which case both.

(Sure...): this, it doesn't take 20 minutes to make a 20 minutes show
