+633 It's annoying when you press too hard as you draw something and then after you erase it the line is still visible, mocking you as a constant reminder of your poor art work, amirite?

You know who else that happened to? Picasso.

...That made little to no sense, but hey.

Haha, I think you have some problems with reading comprehension, but hey.

"Reading comprehension" eh? Again, that lacks any sense or value as a statement. What you basically said was "Something bad happened in someone's profession of choice. You know who has a profession like that? A famous person." That's like responding to "It sucks when you twist your ankle when running, amirite?" with "You know who else that happened to? Usain Bolt."

My point was that remnants of lines drawn and erased aren't looked down upon in the art world, they're actually seen mostly as a sign of meticulous dedication.

And my point was that when you draw anything, it's irritating when you press too hard and can't erase it cleanly. I'm not just talking about art work, it could mean mathematical graphs, silly little pictures for friends, or something like a Picasso piece. I do see where you're coming from though, but I think you slightly missed the point of the post.

It's not that I missed the point of the post, I just misunderstood its inspiration, so I apologize.

Don't be sorry, I never would've seen it from your point of view actually. I'll be honest, I thought the art world was more interested in the perfection of the finished piece than the imperfections of the method. :o So I've learnt something new today.

And then when you color on it you can still see the white line.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's horrible. D: Or when you colour in slightly wrong and you have to try erasing the colour, but end up smudging the line you drew into the colour. ...and stuff. wary

its even worse when it happens on a scantron and you spend the rest of the test worrying if you erased enough
