+392 It'll be interesting to see what the next generation looks like since most of their parents won't care if they get tattoos, piercings or dye their hair, amirite?

The next generation will probably be the worst generation ever, considering they will be raised by this generation.

I find that offensive

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I find this true, though I hope to keep my offspring out of that stereotype.

I would definitely care how my kid looks. I already got all my age restrictions and everything planned :D And if they go against my rules, then there's going to be punishment. I don't want to EVER be one of those sissy parents.

I don't think outward appearance is any determination of a person's character, but that's just me

by Anonymous 13 years ago

my kids if there boys will all have short hair- and it will never be dyed always blond, dress nicely, have no tattos and no piercing my girls will have long hair- which will be blonde- no dye, no tatoos and only ears pierced

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, would hate to be your kid

by Anonymous 13 years ago

and if they are born with brown or black hair?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

then theyll keep it that color, but i have blonde hair, and its a very strong gene so most likely they will have blonde hair too. and if they dont they arent allowed to dye it either.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha alright i was going to say if you could control genes and all that i'd be majorly impressed.

If you tell them you don't care if they get tattoos or piercings, they probably won't get tattoos or piercings. The reason people like those things is because they consider them badass, seeing as most people's parents would never let them get them. Teenagers like to rebel. It's our thing. We hate listening to our parents. If they don't care, those things won't be seen as being as cool as they are now.

I respectfully disagree. I've always wanted a lip piercing, even though my parents were okay with it. I didn't get one because I wanted to be "badass" lol now that I have one, I'm still not a badass, unfortunately.

There's exceptions to every rule

I guess..anyway! You're a FOB lover? Me too!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well shit, Of All the Gin Joints in All the World, who knew I'd run into a fellow FOB lover here. You know I Slept With Someone in Fall Out Boy, but All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me. They were at my sweet sixteen, and I was like, "How About a Little Less Sixteen Candles and a Little More Touch Me." From there I just felt like I was riding the Carpal Tunnel of Love. I wanted to see them in Chicago, then I decided that Chicago is so Two Years Ago, so I saw them in Jersey instead. But Pete wasn't at the show when it was suppose to start, so I found his dad and was like, "Hey; Where is Your Boy Tonight?" But I got distracted when I saw this girl, she looked Pretty in Punk. Then Pete's dad told me I didn't have a shot with her, and I was like, "Don't You Know Who I Think I am?" So I walked over and was like, "Hey babe, wanna Dance Dance?" I'd keep going but I don't have enough room. I think you probably get it by now anyway.

Hahah wow that was awesome! You're officially my Fob hero. Ps I touched Patrick's guitar once and it was the best day of my life, but shamefully, I have since washed my hand :(
