+278 When it comes to losing your virginity the only things that should matter are that you used a condom and that you don't regret it, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And that It was legal. Like not rape or with your parent, etc.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't you think you'd regret doing your dad or getting raped? I added the whole not regretting it part because it spans a lot of different things.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uhm obviously you would regret getting raped? You can't help when unfortunate events occur. I was talking about voluntary actions that you would regret later on in life.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I suppose if it's voluntary and you regret it later, that's covered in the regret part of my post, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, indeed. But I meant that If you lose your virginity against your own will.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You wouldn't regret losing your virginity against your will?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

-_____- This has become tiresome. The point I was trying to make was that sometimes you lose your virginity in unfortunate ways that you could have done nothing to prevent and wasn't your fault;for example rape. If you were raped, ( having intercourse against your own will) then you can't exactly "regret" it, since it was an involuntary action. I think of regret as something you feel after you have done something voluntarily, that you are now wishing you hadn't. & If you haven't noticed by now, I did not disagree with your original statement.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Regret just means feeling bad about something. I know you never disagreed with me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You would feel regret in that you would regret "putting yourself" in that situation. It wouldn't be your fault, but you would have regrets.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

(StephanieIsAmazing):" If you were raped, (having intercourse against your own will)". I think we all know the definition, thanks.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

and that you had the other person's consent.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I would guess many people regret either the time, place, or person they first had sex with. Maybe not at first but consequences of the actions

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And you're married :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If someone would regret having sex when they're not married don't you think that's covered in my post? Waiting until marriage isn't for everyone. If you wanna wait, but don't wait, then you'll regret it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My morals are you should be married to have sex. Those may not apply to you... Or hardly anyone nowadays, but I think that's the correct way.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's correct for you. I cannot get married to the girl I love so waiting would be kind of stupid. I like sex and so does she. We don't regret anything we do. That's all that matters. And I guess the fact that we shower first matters too, but that's covered in regret I guess.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lifes not about what pleases you or what you like. There's more then that.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know that. Our life doesn't revolve around sex. Life is about doing whatever you can to leave a positive mark on this world when you die. Whether or not you wait until marriage doesn't affect your impact on the world.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think you should choose carefully who you lose your virginity with. Usually, the best time to do that is with your spouse on your wedding night. Ideally, the first person you have sex with is the only person you have sex with, but most people don't have the self control unfortunately

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Or live in a Jane Austen novel.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

with the way things are going I may never get to have a wedding night with my girlfriend. We have sex, but only ever with each other. We plan on keeping it that way though. I do agree that you should be picky with who you give it up to.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's the only thing that matters? What about pregnancy? What about STDs? What about emotional stress? What about if it's in marriage? Are you still going to use a condom? What if you want children? What if it's rape?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So, the first half of the post mentioning condoms covers the whole pregnancy, std thing (generally) and the second half of the post mentioning regret covers the whole emotional reagret, marriage, children, rape thing. Soooooo, yeahhh.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So you wouldn't regret getting raped?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They would regret being raped. That's why the regret part of my post covers rape.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"When it comes to losing your virginity the only things that should matter are that you used a condom and that you don't regret it" - If you were raped, you regret it, but you still lose your virginity.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Let me lay this out for you "When it comes to losing your virginity...-" This covers losing your virginity, it doesn't say how you lose your virginity so it can cover rape if you were raped. "...and that you don't regret it-" This covers anything about sex that you could possibly regret (not waiting until marriage, getting raped, being drunk, etc.)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"When it comes to losing your virginity..." - what if you are raped? "...and that you don't regret it" - you will regret it

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If you are raped you lose your virginity in a bad way. If you lose your virginity in a bad way you regret it. Do you understand now? This post isn't just about losing your virginity in a good way, it is about how you SHOULD lose it, not necessarily how you WILL lose it.

Are you retarded?
