-26 It's annoying when people wear converse with dresses. It's like they are trying to make a statement that has already been made. amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

or maybe they just want to dress how they like?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I agree with thatblackgirl about them dressing how they want, but if they're doing it to be //original// or //different//, then they're not trying hard enough. I hate when guys wear chucks with their suits or tuxedos because they think it makes them look rebellious. If you're going to wear anything, do it because you like wearing it, not because you're trying to make some stupid fashion statement that's already been made a thousand times before. Which is basically what OP said.

"Who said I can't wear my converse with my dress, well baby THAT'S JUST ME!"

or they just like converse?

Not my fault women's shoes are either feet-breaking-uncomfortable or made-for-grannies,

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Women have a wider variety of shoes than men, I would say, and most of my shoes are comfortable and age appropriate.

Most shoes I ever wore that were made for ladies made me bleed or rubbed some skin off various places around my foot... Heels or no heels, cheap 2$ shoes or fancy 300$ boots. I guess you have a lucky foot size?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, I guess I have lucky feet, haha. A lot of my friends get blisters from ballet flats never happened to me. What about flip flops or sandals?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I just wear mountain sandals since they're uber comfy, but I wouldn't call them made for girls. Otherwise somehow I keep manage to get blisters from the straps. I don't really like flip-flops since dirt tends to get under the sole of my foot when I use them, they're great for the holidays though.

That's fair. Well, I hope you have better luck with footwear in the future!

It's not annoying... it just looks really bad.

I wear vans with dresses, actually. They're much more comfortable and not as over worn.
