+316 Political correctness and "equality" have bridged some gaps that they shouldn't have. A guy who sexually assaults girls for fun shouldn't be treated with respect and civility; he doesn't deserve it, yet people will still treat him that way, amirite?

Where exactly does this happen?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Where else? Of course in the US.

What the fuck? When has this ever happened?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's what I'm wondering, whenever I've heard of/seen on TV someone who was raped everyone else was pretty mad, not polite. Antoine Dodson is a good example.

@1184448 (528491): This has happened to me. I was assaulted by a guy and when I finally told somebody, nothing happened. It's not that people didn't know about it, because it got spread around, but most people chose "neutrality" in the situation and treated him just the same as before I told. Someone who knew him well, though, did take the time to tell me I wasn't the only girl he assaulted, that it was something he was "addicted" to. I've lost a lot of faith in humanity and it's priorities since...

Wow the people you know are awful! In no way would I be "indifferent" to something like that! that's just terrible, you have my sympathy.

They should be treated with as much civility as possible while throwing their asses in jail.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But alas, if the State doesn't think your statement, or your case as a whole, is strong enough for a conviction, no criminal charges can be brought, and no throwing-asses-in-jail will happen to that person for that crime. I'm sure you can get that I'm from the US, considering my use of the word "State."

Well If we can't prove that they did it then of course they should be treated well. Innocent until proven guilty, right?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess the same goes for victems who choose not to go through the legal system, right?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...yes?
