I hate it when the person recording is singing (horribly) very loudly and you can't hear the actual performance.

Ugh, why? All you hear are their adoring fans... you can barely hear any of the music and if you can it would be at the worst possible quality

... no? Sometimes in live versions, the artist will throw in little bits that make the song so much better, like playing a part differently or soloing in another way. Also, yeah you can hear the crowds, but sometimes hearing the crowd sing along to the beat of a song makes it that much better
