+460 It would put you in a sour mood if, when you leave the do not disturb thing on your door, the hotel people promptly go in, and tear down the fort you you poured your heart into building using curtains and blankets? amirite?

Why would you ever build a pillow fort in a hotel room? That's like building a house of cards in a wind tunnel.

this is dumb cuz i work at a hotel (Holiday inn) as front desk i know if there is a DND sign on the door house keeping or anyone wont go into the room

I believe you, we were staying at a Marriot Residence Inn, and the reason they entered was because we were on a band field trip, and our director had instructed the house keeping to enter the rooms regardless of a sign being on the door. He just doesn't trust teenagers, it wasn't the hotel's policy, it was our band directors policy to ignore the sign.
