+270 A lot of original "scary" movies in black and white would make great comedies for today, amirite?

House of Dark Shadows! I watched it for the first time recently, pretty darn funny. Though I had to appreciate that it was (as far as I know) the first vampire love movie. I'm a big fan of original scary movies. Black Christmas (still scary today), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, and tons more.

I was thinking of SUPER old ones, like Nosferatu, or House on Haunted Hill. I got a box set of about 50 classic horror movies and they're all more funny than scary. Or at least so far.

I did buy The Wolf Man recently lol. Haven't watched it yet but it looks like it'll be funny.

My favorite part are the special effects. Like in the House on Haunted Hill, there's a supposed ghost who is obviously just on a dolly.

Haha I love it. I guess the wolf man is just a guy in a costume. I love bad special effects. Have you ever seen Barbarella? It's not a horror movie, but the in space scenes were more like, "Look, we've figured out green screen!"

hahaha I love those! I haven't seen it but I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. Orin the 80's when slo-mo was super popular so they used it randomly.

Haha yes, slo-mo for no reason, so perfect.

I saw a movie where they'd have people jump/spin while dancing and EVERY time it was in slow-mo.

Awesome. I also really enjoy a good montage. I watched an old martial arts movie once and I swear half of it or more was just fight triaing montages.

Because training is the most epic part, besides the very last fight. There's a newer movie, Ong Bak that's pretty intense, and everytime the main character does something really cool they have an instant replay that plays it much slower. It seems pretty cheesy, but at times I was pretty grateful because I really did want to see it again.

Haha my friend LOVE Ong Bak, but I haven't seen it yet for whatever reason. I'm sure I'll watch it sometime!

The main dude in it is a champ. Everything he does is legit, it'll blow you away.

Yeah, I've heard. I love martial arts and stuff so it should be great.

I watched an episode of The Twilight Zone. It was not scary, but my dad said it was when he first watched it.
