+273 If you try to defend a minority group that has no defining physical characteristics, people automatically assume you are a part of that group. Amirite?

STOP! EXAMPLE TIME! "What do you think of Simon?" "I don't like him because I think he is homosexual and I hope his time on Earth comes to an abrupt and painful end. The sooner the better." "Just because he's gay doesn't mean he shouldn't get to die a prolonged death like the rest of us after living a largely unfulfilling life. EQUAL RIGHTS BITCH" "Omgz u is gay 2." Does this relate to the post? Almost certainly not. I just wanted to share a story.

STOP! HAMMER TIME!

Oh you!

Lol because people don't believe in others being nice, since everyone instinctively stands up for their own kind (American for American, black for black, religious or religious) they just guess that's the reason you're standing up for them. It's actually quite probable that you are, so you can't blame them.

Yeah. But did you like my little "no defining physical characteristics" disclaimer? Coz, like, if I start defending black rights, or say that people in wheelchairs should have more ramps or something, peeps can obviously see I'm a white guy not in a wheelchair.

Orite, that "black for black" example was off. More like, sexual orientation for orientation.
