+292 It's annoying when your parents talk to you and they say the name of your brother/sister instead of yours, amirite?

My grandpa literally goes through about half of my closest female relatives before he gets to the right name. But it's allright because he does that with everyone.

My grandma goes through half of my relative's names for everyone. Including names of the opposite gender. >.<

Sometimes my mum calls me by her sister's name

Mine too! And it's always the sister who she hates. And I don't even have siblings... So loved. :/

I voted up because it is a little annoying when that happens, but I find it funny more than anything. I pull the "oh I'm the forgotten middle child" card on them.

I don't think it's annoying, I think it's funny. I do that to my dogs, though.

To be honest, I find it pretty hilarious. She calls us by our aunts' names too, and she calls my little brother the cat's name sometimes xD

My step-dad does that with all my step-sisters and me. He goes through everyone's names before he finally says the right name. Priceless.

Sometimes my parents will call me by my brother's name. I'm a girl. And sometimes my dad will call me by my mom's or aunt's name, and then he might call my mom by my name or my aunt's name.
