I understand OP and I get his/her point, but as a female, it kinda bothers me that owning a car is being compared to having a wife. Female objectification, you know?
I get that this was meant to be supportive, but this does come off as that the wife is property, and that a man should be upset about having his things damaged, not that he should care about the feelings of his wife, or shouldn't deal with things through violence. However, I agree with the intention (I think) just not the phrasing.
I think I'd rather pay for a scratch on my car, then look at the black eye I gave my wife everyday till it heals... That's a little more heartbreaking than losing some money
Good point, I'm not advocating wife beating or anything I just thought the analogy was off a little since the physical damage to your wife isn't permanent(though emotional damage is).
I didn't, and I just proved it by voting yours back up to zero and mine down to 3. Also I don't have the ability to vote four times. Not to mention, why would I do that as well as post an apology comment?
Dick.
I think I get what you're saying... You want me to beat up other peoples' wives?

I would never key my car!
Only if the car stops working...
Bullshit, i'm proud of my car

Black eyes heal, scratches don't
Yes they do. Scars, maybe?
but you'd have to pay to fix scratches and just bruising someone won't scar them.
I meant that scratches heal on their own, unlike scars usually, so I was saying perhaps scars instead of scratches in your comment.
Lol I meant scratches on a car.
oooooooooooh. That makes more sense now..

... it's actually nothing like that ... whatsoever.
Actually, it's exactly like that...exactly.
Lol jerk!
So true, I'd never key my car.
But let's be honest, you gotta keep your pimp hand strong sometimes.
Sometimes I accidentally do it with my purse or belt or something like that, both my husband and my car.
How do you accidentally do it to your husband with a belt? That sounds like some seriously thought out bdsm.
Drugs fuck with your memory and motor control. Besides, it was a joke, I'm 15 and too young to be married.
Oh, I didn't realize you were intentionally making a bdsm joke, I thought that was just poor word choice.
My apologies.
I bet you voted down my post and voted yours up.
I didn't, and I just proved it by voting yours back up to zero and mine down to 3. Also I don't have the ability to vote four times. Not to mention, why would I do that as well as post an apology comment?

I took your apology as sarcasm. No, MY apologies. <--Not sarcasm.
