Some do, but sometimes it's reasonable. If a kid needs serious help and goes to a teacher, it's their responsibility to do someting about it.

My seventh grade science teacher was obsessed with this one couple on our "team." He was always like "oooo Gracie and Trent!" and gave them a piece of cake from our activity day for their like 3 month anniversary and said he'd give them extra credit if they kissed in front of him. Creepy, amirite?
