+239 It's kind of dumb to think that there is no life on Pluto just because it is extremely cold there. What if they have animals or plants that are able to survive it? They definitely aren't going to have animals like the ones on Earth on any other planet, amirite?

I doubt there's plants and animals on Pluto, it's probably just bacteria

That's still life.

why would you expect it to be bacteria, or anything resembling terrestrial life? I wouldn't be surprised if there's none, though. I'm not a biologist but it's hard to imagine any life being possible without water or any type of liquid, and everything freezes at Pluto's temperatures. Earth is at pretty much exactly the right temperature, and Mars is close.

It's hard to have life in extremely cold environments because many things that define life are difficult to perform in cold. It's possible, but extremely unlikely.

What if they were aliens who can survive without water and eat the ground???

Exactly!

Well if everything freezes to ice, then can't you just eat that and get the water you need? Ice counts as water, right? It's just in a solid form.
