+290 There needs to be a better system to describe what to wear for an event. Was it suit-formal, instead of tie-and-button-down-shirt-formal? There's also a chance it was casual-shorts-with-a-collared-shirt-formal (possibly with a tie), or even the less-casual-than-school-but-more-casual-than-something-really-important-khakis-and-a-collared-shirt-no-tie-formal (used at family gatherings). amirite?
