+267 You never fall in love with a person. You always fall in love with their personality. This is what others fail to understand when you say you are in love, amirite?

Isn't personality a big part of the person?

Well, what if someone was extremely good-looking. You could love their appearance as well as the person. Or if you're a gold-digger, you would love their money and not the personality. Or if they have talents, you could love those. There are many things you can be in love with in a person that don't make up the personality.

my ex changed her personality so much, it led to us breaking up.

So when I say I love a person, it means her body, and it doesn't include her personality?

I'm not quite sure this post makes much sense. Personality is what makes a person who they are, isn't it? So, if someone ever confessingly says, "I love you," you should reply, "Well...I don't love your person. Just your personality." Er...okay?

completly agreed!

'i love you' means you love the 'person' as a whole, this includes everything about them; personality, appearence etc. who a person is IS their personality really? their individuality i guess
