Haha. You have to spout your ignorance everywhere, don't you? :)

You insulting the opposite party does nothing for the nation. Nothing will be solved until both parties learn to work together. Things like this make me hate both democrats and republicans.

@1351041 (ZombieBandwagon): Calm down dudes, it was joke. I am a liberal in a heavily conservative area. I often say these things without really meaning them, just saying them to watch my conservative friends flare. I usually forget that is not the case here. I know compromising is what is needed, and well right now, the Republicans really aren't compromising. On the debt issue, Obama and the Democrats have gone half-way, leaving the Republicans to go the other half, but they don't, they sit dormant on their side unwilling to leave party lines to moving the country forward. So while that comment was mostly a joke, there is an element of undeniable truth to it.

I'm liberal too, for the most part anyway. I understand it was a joke, and I didn't mean to appear angry. I'm just very against blindly following one party while insulting the other.

As am I, and I am a liberal, not due to blindness, but because I have actually looked at my views and what I believe and the Democrats match up much more than the Republicans.
Is it just me, or are the Republicans being very dick-ish in the debt negotiations? Speaker Boner comes out and says basically "we're willing to compromise, but anything the other party wants is right off the table." That isn't compromise. The Democrats have promised and laid plans for big cuts like the Republicans wanted, but the Republicans aren't willing to move from the party line for anything, even with looming economic doom. I honestly think the Republicans are being assholes right now.

I remember this one time my female classmate wanted to put a bow tie on me for some reason for a school concert and about 30 seconds into it she realized the bow tie didn't fit correctly so she used that tactic for the bow tie but it failed because it was the other way around.

Great story bro

Unless you're talking about market regulation, in which case it would be the other way round
