Calm yo tits, Mitch.

They're basically asking if you need anything. They're not insulting you.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ugh, they're trying to insult me!? And here I was just thinking they were trying to be polite. How foolish of me.

I just don't like it when they ask me something while my mouth is full, haha :$

Same here! I just went out to eat tonight and the waitress comes up to me when I have a mouthful of soup and she's all like, "How's the soup?" And I sort of nod but she keeps staring like I'm supposed to say something, so I spit it out and smile and am all like 'It's fine, thanks.' But she keeps staring at me like I'm some kind of lunatic. Except not really. But yeah, I hate that.

Cool story, bro.

I'm getting an insecure vibe.

I don't mind them checking in on me, I just can't stand it when they ask "you still working on that?". No, lady, I'm not "working" on it. I'M FUCKING EATING IT.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My purpose in life is to eat a lot of shit. I consider it my job. So, personally, I am "working" on it.

I'm a waitress, and I say "still enjoying that?" or "are you all finished?" is that ok??

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, unless they already said that they were enjoying it, you might sound strange to say 'still enjoying that?' because they could very well hate it.
