Wow...I really want to click YYA. It just seems like the honorable thing to do. The thing is, I don't really want to die. I'm not cold hearted enough to choose someone I care about to die instead of me, so I'll just go with no voting, and explaining everything in the comments, like I'm doing right now.

you might think that you would rather die than someone else die, but really, if you were actually faced with that problem, especially if it is someone you don't know, you would rather them die instead of you.

No, if anyone, even if I didn't know them, was right in front of me about to die and I had the choice to die instead, I would do it. I couldn't live with myself if I let them die.

This is going to sound really weird but I think that if it were one of my parents, I would probably let them die. Not because I don't love them, but because I think that no matter how much it would hurt to lose them it must be a thousand times more painful to watch your child die, knowing it was to save you. So dying for them would actually be almost selfish, because it means you get to avoid all the guilt and heartbreak and leave it for them instead.
