I think some people don't understand the context of the joke. Casey Anthony is receiving donations from 'admirers.'

And Last I heard, she was on her way to getting book and movie deals. And news stations paid her money for her old home movies and pictures and such. The media made her infamous, and now she's poised to become a millionaire.

Well, whether she did it or not, the verdict was not guilty. So you can hardly say "Killing her child" as it's been ruled that she didn't do so by the courts.

Yeah, I guess so, but still. And want my honest opinion? I think she did it-- BUT! I think that's unprovable and under our court system, she's innocent until proven guilty, so, she's innocent. I guess the post is right about the financial thing but I can't get past the beginning, sorry dude :/

I completely agree with you and was originally going to phrase it the other way, but the joke works better this way, so I used it.

They'll probably make a movie about the trial, and then someone will write a book, or she'll come out in an interview called "My Story," and that's where the cash flow comes in.
