+300 You don't have a problem, with reading a book for school. It's the essay you hate doing. amirite?

I, like unnecessary; punctuation?

Actually, I always had a problem with reading books for school. It would just turn me away from the book completely, so I'd be reading a gazillion books without touching any of the required reading. I got around it by reading them before school asked me to, or after school was long over. That being said, I never got the essays right.

It was actually the books I had problems with. They were all ridiculously easy and I'd just get... bored.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Most of the books I read for school were horrible. :/

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Nah, didn't always like the books either. Like Of Mice and Men. That sucked so much.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Wow we just read that book too and completely agree with you. In fact I kind of had to look at that comment to see if it was me and had written it ages ago hahaha.

I actually liked Of Mice and Men! But I also like A Tale of Two Cities...maybe I'm just weird.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

We are very different people... I tried reading A Tale of Two Cities once. I don't think I got past the first page. But kudos to you.

Maybe I'm just odd, but the essay is always my favorite part. I usually love the books we have to read so I think it's fun to write about them.

You aren't odd, it's usually my favorite too :)

I was okay about the essays. Don't get me wrong the essays where you have to keep a journal of "themes" in the book are horrid. They think more is going on in the book than there really is. Also the books are so boring! I tried to read lord of the flies but it killed me. I can bullshit up an awesome essay without reading the book or doing the project. It's kind of fun. It's like the "do you really think I read the book" game.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Actually it's the other way around for me. I don't mind the essays, but I hate the fact that I'm being forced to read. It sucks the fun right out of a book.

You don't have a problem, with spelling words in a sentence. It's the grammar you hate doing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I realize this. I can't go and edit it. People have already pointed this out. It's not necessary for you to, but thanks anyway.

You're right. UmUm should stop, being such a dick.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not being a dick, it was a joke. Get a sense of humor =]
