It's automatic...if you put "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" in your post, it automatically censors it in case some people haven't seen the movie. I think it stays until the movie gets out of the theatres.
That's what I thought at first, but Harry was telling him about how the Elder Wand would never work for him, and I think that Voldemort may have kind of wanted to hear what he had to say before he killed him. His obsession with power screwed him over yet again, which is consistent with the books even if the scene wasn't actually in the book.

omg in the movie i could not stop laughing when that happened cuz it was just so unrealistic.... voldemort would have just killed him!

yes that makes sense, but i guess i liked it more when they just circled eachother and talked... with everyone watching intently :)
