-150 You should be allowed to bring guns on an airplane just in case there are terrorists. amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The NWs don't surprise me. I'm not sure about passengers having guns but I think pilots and flight attendants should be allowed, then //maybe// they could ease up on the ridiculousness of airport security.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

this says you though. would you want any random person being allowed to bring guns on a plane?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well if everyone on the plane had a gun, I don't see the problem with it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

if i brought a machine gun on i could probably kill a few people before anyone else got a shot off

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Obviously a normal person wouldn't be carrying around a machine gun with them for protection and therefore it wouldn't be allowed on the plane. I'm just referring to hand guns that are perfectly legal to carry in public providing a person has the licenses to do so.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I disagreed because I was thinking of the passengers, but letting the crew carry guns (not making them; they aren't police) is an interesting idea.

lolwut

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Sure, so if some dumbass misfires, someone innocent gets shot or the bullet goes through the side of the airplane and depressurizes the cabin. Solid plan yo.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Depressurizing the cabin isn't that big of a deal. All you have to do is secure the little masks to your face first, and then to those who need assistance. Even if the bag doesn't inflate, oxygen will still be flowing.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Hmm... logic of gun control opponents. "Criminals will have weapons anyway, so so should everyone else!"

by Anonymous 11 years ago

"if they're illegal, nobody will own them"- logic of people against guns. If you think that's ridiculous, then reread your comment and think about how ridiculous that is to 'gun control opponents'

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Say there's a terrorist. How many passengers or even the pilot can fire with perfect accuracy so there's 0 chance the bullet flies through the fuselage wall and makes everyone explode?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Shooting a tank of anything will not make it explode. I would know, I've shot propane tanks before. There was zero combustion anywhere.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

THat's not what I'm talking about. The plane has sea level air pressure at 30k feet. If a bullet makes a hole, the air will get sucked out quickly. The sudden drop in pressure in the cabin causes the air in peoples' lungs to expand and make their chests explode. something similar happened before on a flight called something comet something.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well it's either the terrorist kills everyone by hijacking the plane, or someone with a gun shoots the terrorist and risks hitting another person... which is a slim chance if they've been trained properly to handle the weapon. Everybody has the idea that by allowing guns on a plane, that terrorists would automatically just waltz on in with guns and start taking planes hostage left and right. That's not how it would work.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

People should carry knives. YOu don't need range in an environemnt like that. Plus, you can't puncture the plane so easily with a knife.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That's true. I mean there are lots of variables to consider. But one thing I hate is that we've scared ourselves to the point they don't even allow certain types of liquid to be carried on a plane.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I once has to throw away a tube of gel candy, even though I drank it in front of the security lady.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

This would solve the airline's two biggest problems: terrorists and boring flights.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

would you want any random person being able to bring guns onto a flight?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Are people not aware that Air Marshals are a thing?
