Once my mom thought it was about to turn green because the walk sign turned to a flashing hand but then it just turned back to walk so she got mad and ran the light.

We were on a road trip, and we got stopped at a light in the middle of nowhere. My step dad waited over five minutes at that light before taking it.

I was waiting at a light with no one else around for 3+ minites and I was in a rush so I said screw it turned right went through an alley and beat the light :P

On lists of safety tips it says that even though it's illegal, if it's late at night and you've checked properly to make sure you won't hit anyone, it's best to go through the light so that you don't get carjacked.

If it was in the middle of nowhere i would run the red light (hypothetically) to gtfo of there and not get carjacked or shot.
