+1,000 When you get your licence, you're guaranteed to hear "Remind me to stay off the road! Ha ha ha!" a thousand times from adults who think they're funny, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They're senile, and genuinely want your help reminding them to stay off the road

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's so annoying..

"Remind me to stay off the road!" "Remind me to aim for the sidewalk."

''I hope you have some insurance! Ha ha *snort* ha!''

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They may be annoying, but at least they, unlike you, probably know how to spell "license"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/licence it's generally a good idea to know what you're talking about before you try to condescendingly correct somebody.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Both spellings are acceptable. So neither are wrong, which means that they do know what THEY are talking about, they just don't know what YOU'RE talking about.

You would think that the people that correct spelling on this site would have been on here long enough to know that not everybody spells some words the same.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I do know how to spell licence.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Idiot. It's "licence".

Mine's better.

I got mine on Tuesday...the same day as the earthquake. My mom's friends thought it would be funny to say that they "thought they felt the earth move."

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Adults did that to me as soon as I got my learner's. XP
