They will have good singers in their generation as well though. The generation before us had good singers and we don't know all of them, but we've had good singers in this generation too.

Every generation has good singers. Sure, I'm not crazy about music right now, but not all of it is bad. It was like that with any time period of music: bad and good artists. But just the good ones survive the test of time.

not really, their music is still very much alive. Even more so because of the Internet. I feel sorry when music that had so much soul and such meaningful messages is sampled in mindless pop songs today though!
