+276 Food critic has to be the easiest job in the world. You eat extravagant dishes from some of the country's finest chefs, tell them there dish is just missing something, and get paid bucket-loads of money to be on TV, amirite?

it's quite difficult actually. They can't indulge on simple things like alcohol and/or sweets because they need to keep their tastebuds as healthy as possible and every time critique a chef's dish they are putting their reputation on the line as well as the chefs. Also, tongue insurance does not come cheap.

Yes. They could only eat and drink certain things at specific times during the week to avoid their taste buds being influenced during their work.
