+289 T-shirts for women are ridiculous. Why do designers think we enjoy only 1/2 an inch of fabric under our arms? It's just irritating to the armpit area, gets deodorant on the outside of the shirt, and makes our pits visible to the universe if we raise our arms. Make the sleeves longer and more comfy! amirite?

And I hate it when fabric sticks to your armpits so you have thread there and it looks like you have really hairy pits.

It's less than half an inch.

I was gonna say 1/2 an inch is a freaking coat

Shirts with shorter sleeves are //more// comfortable...

I disagree. I find them to be irritating and an annoyance. Tank tops or long sleeves are more comfortable in my opinion.

Hmm, interesting. I was always depressed how it was hard to find shorter sleeved shirts for men.

Thats for MEN though. This post is about shirts for women. For men, I don't really know any guys that care either way.

I'm fairly certain the comfyness of shirts at the sleeves is thought of in the same way for women as it is for men.... >_> And considering I am a man, I wish there were more shorter-sleeved shirts, because I find it comfortable.

I said the POST was aimed for womens shirts, not mens shirts xD And not always, most women have more sensitive skin towards tightness around the armpits and upper arms. And as a woman, I completely disagree and find shorter sleeved shirts annoying and far from comfortable.

Hmm, interesting. I didn't know women had more sensitive skins around the armpits and upper arms. Do you know why?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Not really? I just know that's how it seems to be with anyone I know. Small irritation bother women far more then men and personal choice comes into play as well.

Yeah, and while they're at it, make the pockets in our jeans a LOT bigger!!

I personally like the feel of tighter sleeves, though they do kind of make you sweat more sometimes. Loose sleeves bother me because I can never forget they're there, if that makes sense.
