I think Google and Wikipedia automatically redirect a lot of the common misspellings of their names.

I think OP meant that you mistype it once so them every time you try to go to the site again, the mispelling shows up in the drop down list. Like my phone always suggests I go to facebook.coma.

I know! It's like your computer is that one annoying friend who always brings up the stupid things you've done in the past. "Hey, remember that one time you accidentally typed in 'facebokk' instead of 'facebook'? That was so funny!" "Come on now, computer, it was one time! No need to put it on my drop-down list."
