+124 It is much classier to ask a girl's permission to kiss her than just going in for the kill amirite?

You mean awkward haha it ruins the moment if he asks you..

I like it c: I get a little bit of a shock and it gives me butterflies. I don't really feel awkward about it I just kinda sit there kinda smiling while I absorb what he just said then do it.

Colebowl I've never looked at your profile but I've thought you were a dude the whole time I've been on amirite oops

Just wondering... can you see my profile picture? Cuz if so and you still thought I was a dude I'm not sure how I'll feel about that.

I only went to your profile after I read that comment, and the little picture next to your comments looks like Einstein so

i would want it just to happen, not be asked.

It sounds awkward. It ruins the moment. What are you supposed to say, "Yeah, sure?"

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm assuming you only mean the first time because if he asked every single time that would get extremely annoying

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Classier? Sure. But I don't necessarily want a guy to be classy as much as I want him to be assertive and spontaneous.

I don't entirely agree, but I don't really disagree either. Not all forms of permission are explicit and verbal. The girl (or boy) could give you enough hints through body language or eye contact so as to give you permission.

I would feel really awkward if someone asked to kiss me.

I think it would be classier if he said it with a british accent too.

Just make sure the answer will be yes. Because if you HAVE to ask, the answer is probably no.
