Man, when I went with my roommate to visit his aunt, that dude from next-door was pretty chill. I wish I could remember his name so I could add him. Oh look! Facebook found him for me.

This is true when you've had a Facebook for a while, but when you're just starting out those kinds of 'people you may know' suggestions really help build up your friends list with people you haven't searched for yet but still would like to add as a friend. I realize many people are way past that stage of Facebook already but many others are not.

I know. The friend suggestions were actually very useful to me when I got my Facebook. But I feel like they should take it away for people who've had FB for a while. Or, at the very least, they should limit the suggestions on the side of the page to, say, 10 mutual friends or more. That should have been their most recent update, not those silly blue corners.
