+11 There are two forms of love: Rational (or, "mature") and Natural (or, "immature"). Mature love is guided by intellect, reason, and spirituality. Immature love is driven by instinct, intuition, and romance. Many people refer to Natural love as being "in love". Now for the vote statement: The difference between actually loving someone and being in love with someone is that the former is mature and the latter is immature, amirite?
