I think that looks do matter a little, but it's more of a hygiene thing. I wouldn't want to marry someone who doesn't clean himself, that's just nasty.

(POST NOT MENT TO OFFEND) I might sound like an asshole but if I'm not physically attracted to you, I won't be having sex with you. Therefore I wouldn't have to consider the possible unattractiveness of our nonexistent children. It's cute to say that looks don't matter but it's not real. And anybody who says otherwise is either an idealist or ugly.
