I know this was meant as a joke, but I really can't. "I love you, and I'm glad you're in my life, I don't know where I'd be without you, blah de blah" just sounds like a bunch of mush. But sometimes it's true and you HAVE to say it. "I love you, braahh" doesn't cut it.

I agree. At one point you just end up accepting that it'll sound like mush. It took me a year of seeing a guy every week to say "I enjoy spending time with you, you know." It's quite sad, really.

Did you say it in person? Because I can never bring myself to say stuff like that in person. I am a wimp.

Nah, through texting. Whenever I try that kind of crap in person, people assume I'm being sarcastic and get insulted. High five for the emotional wimps.

I only explain emotions when I'm upset, and then I tend to start to cry. So I just don't.
