Country side: Our parents or relatives drove us to the neighborhoods in the nearest town.

We still go trick or treating lol There are houses in the city (well there are some in Chicago), and businesses pass out candy too

I live in Chicago, too and my siblings and I just go to Logan Square since a lot of the businesses pass out candy.

I live in a city and I went trick or treating. It's not particularly difficult, especially if you live in a residential neighborhood as opposed to downtown. Actually, it's fun downtown too, but...

You can knock on the doors in your apartment building. That's A LOT of candy, but its not as fun, so many do go to the suburbs.

We have something around here called trunk or treating. Everybody who wants to be a part meets at a designated location and passes out candy from their car.
