You CAN'T homepage every post. There's a limit. We should save them for the good posts so everyone sees the greatness of said post.

No one wants to see all the posts. If we did homepage every post, there would be no Just Ins and an overflowing homepage. It would make the homepage a lot less of an award and more of a "Oh look, another homepage" type of thing.
