Especially knowing that your work will never actually be read.

Yes, and while you are telling the anon your name, you can also tell us your address, your PIN, and your credit card number.

Don't forget social security number.

It can't be too bad being a contract lawyer. I assume they make a killing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They do. And the ones I know enjoy it, it's word play to the extreme for them.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I would have fun with it. I'd just slip something in there like "Microsoft now owns your soul."

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You could slip stuff in there such as "By agreeing to this contract, we have the right to list you as a sex offender in Canada, the UK, and all 50 states of the US" or something.

Yeah but if whoever wrote the terms and conditions put it in their own contractsaying something like eerytime someone agrees to my terms I get paid X amount of dollars I think the person would have made a lot of money. Plus I bet a lot of terms and condition agreements get reused but have slight differences

The lawyers who come up with them probably make shit-tons of money.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's so boring that they don't even pay attention to what they're writing!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Half way through they probably just start writing their grocery list, maybe a bucket list. After all, the only requirement must be that it's 12 million characters long.
