+77 girls: you've all got at least one "beauty secret" that you'd swear by no matter how stupid it sounds amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Guys too. I put a towel on my pillow at night.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Why?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Skin.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What about it...?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The towel keeps your face away from dirt and bacteria and other slobbery stuff. A clean face looks better and helps with acne. Plus the towel feels really good.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I SHOULD TRY THAT THANKS

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It works pretty well. I notice my face breaking out when I stop for a while. Do that along with a routine of washing and a good diet and you'll have sexy skin quick yo.

I use the clinique 3 step system so the acne's almost gone :D

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh nice. I'm lazy and pop an antibiotic, wash and sleep. That's my 3 steps!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol Im getting super lazy and just replacing all 3 steps with an exfoliator. So yeah lol.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Chugging water helps i heard.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, as long as its not too much, then your body will produce more sebum just because you can.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh shit! I didn't know that.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i use proactiv:)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I heard it doesn't work for everyone. does it work for you?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeh pretty well actually...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I have to wear foundation on my eyelids. can't leave the house without it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Me too!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Why?!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I have absolutely no idea, just one of those things

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Same! If I can only get one makeup thing done, it's foundation on my eyelids. And some mascara. I don't like having veiny eyelids.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I've discovered that if I don't put some sort of foundation on my eyelids, my eyeliner leaves a mark. Also, if I wear eyeshadow, then it doesn't stay on because the skin on your eyelids have natural oils on them.

I don't rinse out my conditioner until the very end of my shower.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You mean everyone doesn't do that? I always thought that was what you were suppose to do. Weird.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, I didn't start doing it until last year when I figured it might help my hair. So, I didn't think it was something most people do.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

With some conditioners you're supposed to leave it in for a few minutes before washing it off. I suggest reading the directions on your conditioner bottle to see how long you should leave it in.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Mine just says put it in and rinse it out. No time is mentioned.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Most conditioners don't but some do. Leave-in conditioners are usually good for very dry hair.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I also use a leave-in conditioner when I be out of the shower. I have curly hair, so I need to keep it hydrated or else it's a frizzy mess.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Exfoliate with sugar honey and lemon juice, mix baby oil with my lotion, vaseline on my eyelashes and lips, boil water and steam your pores to open then wash face, spray bottle filled with flaxseed oil, vitamin e oil, leave in conditioner, and the rest with water, and spray the tips of my hair when I get out of the shower. Wear sunscreen if you ever use lemon juice, because it will make you spotty if you tan.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What does vaseline on your eyelashes do?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

protects them, they grow thicker i think?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ohh okay, I've never heard that one before.
