+238 You're wearing short sleeves, your arms are cold, you put on a jacket. You're wearing shorts, your legs are cold... what do you do? They should make pants jackets, or "panckets", for those times, amirite?

sweatpants?

Thats exactly what I thought when I read this

by Anonymous 12 years ago

same! that's what I was gonna comment, just bring sweatpants to put over shorts when my legs are cold

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ohhhhhhh... But there's the problem of needing to take your shoes off to get the sweatpants on

by Anonymous 12 years ago

my sweatpants are baggy enough to fit over shoes

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I guess that works out pretty well then!

You change your pants. Also, there are pants that can be split into more parts...I'm not good at explaining. Basically they are long pants that have a zipper along the short-pants line and/or a zipper along the 3/4 line. You can take the bottom part off if you're too hot. Or you can go out in shorts when it's hot and put back the lower part when it gets colder.

I used to have those when I was little!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Me too :). They were useful at the seaside.

You could get those trendy zip off pants. Hahahahahahahah

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Come on, in this hipster-filled society zip-off pants could be the shit :P

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Simply take off your pants and put on jeans/sweats/etc,

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They're called pants. And in the winter they have snowpants.

Leggings/tights?

Guys, this isn't supposed to be real. Obviously, if you're cold, you put on pants, but I'm sure someone out there would carry around panckets with them just in case this happened. Who knows; maybe you're at the mall, and you don't have time to change, or you're not wearing those zip-off pants? And you just happen to see a pancket store to your left, so you walk in, set the money down, and enjoy your brand-new pancket while laughing at those who aren't as trendy as you are.

I feel like it reminds me of pancakes and I'd get them mixed up often

I used to have something like this when i was in about 1st grade. My pants had a zipper in the middle where the knee cap is and if it was hot then id unzip the zipper and it turn into shorts, and if I wanted pants again I just zip it back up.

Well obviously, if you were a real man, you'd grow a coat of hair around your legs to provide insulation with the sheer force of your will. ...Of course, there's the option of putting on long pants, too.
