+73 With everyone trying to be "Politically Correct", and how everyone is so afraid of offendeding people, all the attemps to teach people that there are no differences between people of different races, and eliminate racism, seem to do the opposite, and make it seem as though there are differences, and make us think about them. Whereas, if they left it alone and didn't try to pound it into everyones heads, there would be more understanding between people. Amirite?

The goal is not to show that there are no differences between peoples. The goal is to celebrate the differences between peoples. If we did ignore cultural differences, then nothing would be changed; everything would be white-centric. It's funny that someone seemingly anti-racism isn't afraid of offending people. I think the goal of being a good person who isn't racist is, y'know, not offending anyone.
