Good Christians: it's sad to see so many of your friends celebrating Halloween, when they should know that it's an anti-God holiday and it means there sinning, amirite?
It's a Catholic holiday. It's a contraction for All Hallow's Eve. It used to be believed that the veils between Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory would thin out on certain days, so that's why we dress up as ghosts, zombies, etc. Yes, the trick-or-treating is of Pagan origin, but refusing to trick-or-treat because something is of Pagan origin is like refusing to be a vegetarian because Hitler was a vegetarian.
I'm Christian and celebrate Halloween, any religion who says you can't use an excuse to dress up and have fun doesn't deserve to be one. You suck, and are just like that bitch from Order of the Pheonix. Not that you'd know what that is, since Harry Potter is witchcraft and evil too, you stupid fuck. proud to say I'm christian and swear!!!
Just because someone doesn't celebrate Halloween doesn't make them a better Christian than one who does! There are really strong Christians that celebrate Halloween.
Hollowed originated from china and a little bit of Mexico china version dressing in scary costumes to scare away the demons Mexico version day of the dead to celebrate knowing that your family is in a better place now and to honor them I don't see an sinning in that
It's actually a pagan holiday. It originated when pagans believed that halloween was the one day of the years that ghouls could come into the land of the living. Masks were used to hide their faces so the ghouls/demons/spirits didn't know who they were. Jack o laterns and candy were left out to "appease" the ghosts so they would be happy with them.
Dressing up in a costume and asking for candy. So sinful.
WITCHCRAFT AND GLUTTONY.
ALL WHO DARE CELEBRATE THIS HERETIC ORGY OF DEFECATING ON BIBLES MUST BE STONED TO DEATH.
Oooo shit I think we have just stumbled onto a troll bridge

No, but it saddens me to see people use the word "there" incorrectly.
I go to a Catholic school, and the school canteen is decorated for halloween. Vampires, witches, zombies all over the walls.
Not knowing the proper there/their/they're in this situation is a sin...
I'm Catholic and I go to church every Sunday. I love Halloween!
Since when were there "good Christians?" I thought all Christians were supposed to be good? :P
