I went to Argentina to see family during Christmas and we had huge dinner at like 12 am. They cooked an entire pig, and I sadly had to open the fridge to see its head in there.

Uhh that's because it's Independence Day. In Austrailia we celebrate Christmas on July 4th.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Since when does anyone celebrate Christmas on July 4th?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

okay sorry Mr. Grinch

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I didn't steal Christmas. July 4th and December 25th are two veeeery different days.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Okay Scrooge, why you have a problem with Christmas in July?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The only issue is that Christmas is in December. Hah, there's really not much point in replying to you after this.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Then what's the holiday in early July where we celebrate Jesus' birth and give each other gifts? Checkmate, mate!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I am not aware of anybody who does that. Probably because Christmas is celebrated in December... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas

by Anonymous 12 years ago

where are you from anyways? I'm obviously trolling since I'm (unfortunately) not from Australia, but according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_in_July people in the southern hemisphere actually do do this.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

OP here, living in NZ. We don't. Anyway, check that article, it is only about celebrations held in July, not actual holidays, Christmas, held in July.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was hoping you were. I'm from New Zealand, and I can assure than we celebrate Christmas in December, not July.
