I'd want to be a meme if it was like "Attractive Cool Kid" but it's more likely to be "Disappointed Scenester" or some shit like that. I wouldn't want to be the face of something like that.

Memes become terribly unfunny after a while (as in "about a month or so"). They add nothing new or original and by the point they actually become a meme and everyone starts using them, they lose their original purpose and eventually just become funny because everyone else thinks it's funny. It's why we laugh when we hear laugh tracks during a comical moment in a TV show (which //does// work, even if you disagree, otherwise they wouldn't use them).
Rage comics have died now, dolan has died now, y u no guy has died now, Rickroll has died now...most have died. And people still use them and it just becomes a dead horse meme.
This sums up my thoughts of memes quite nicely.
