+287 You would never vote for a class president whose main platform was outlawing dodge-ball, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah. Kurt is crazy. I LOVE dodgeball. Survival of the fittest.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know right! I'm a freaking ninja at dodgeball

by Anonymous 12 years ago

OMG!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That episode was intense.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Although I believe everyone has the right to chose when he/she comes out of the closet, what happened to Santana seems to be a very intense form of karma

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Idk. She didn't deserve it that harshly. She never attacks anything true, but Finn did. She can't deny it. I felt really, really bad for her.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

She should have known it was coming from all the years she's verbally abused everyone, but she didn't deserve to be outed that harshly. If Finn said that and they were alone, it wouldn't have been so bad. In fact, it almost showed how nice he was because he hadn't said anything until she bullied him. But, no. He said it in a school hallway, in front of someone they knew was listening, in a school he knew to be homophobic and vicious and gossipy, when he'd seen what his own brother had gone through for being gay. And Kurt came out when he was ready even. Santana has to deal with this crap when she wasn't ready to tell anyone but her girlfriend. Finn should have taken the high road.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I thought when he said that no one was listening, I should've known better. When I first heard Santana's apology I thought she was being grown up, but as she continued I knew different. When she finished I swear I felt a disturbance in the force...that's when I knew the rest of the episode wasn't going to be pleasant

I was more upset in the preview because Beiste's new boyfriend is on a date with Sue. And she finally found someone who genuinely cared about her. :( I mean, Santana had it coming, even if she didn't deserve it. Beiste is the nicest teacher at that school, except maybe Emma, but Emma has guys crawling after her.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ever since Beiste laughed at Kurt's audition I haven't liked her.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Isn't it illegal or something to attack a child in a political ad. Pretty sure the guy could be sued for defamation of character.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's what I was thinking when I saw it. He used her picture too, which I would think he'd need permission for.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yah, you're not allowed to show people unless they give you permission. That's why a lot of shows that have civilians in them have peoples faces blurred out.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

See, now it's going to bug me because it seems like the creators just wanted to create more drama, but didn't bother thinking it through.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

LOL. But seriously, violence is stupid and so is bullying. Kurt rocks.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I can understand the bullying thing, but if you choose to play dodge-ball then you're electing to have balls thrown in your face. What Santana did was out of line but if no one does anything like that then dodge-ball can be a very fun game. Especially if you're awesome at it hello

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, I guess if you willingly play then it's okay.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

At his school, it's dangerous. Outside of gym. At my school we never play with anything but foam balls and always in gym, where there are regulations on what you can and can't do. They were specifically playing without teachers and with heavy rubber balls, intending to play to get out their agression against one another. they should have known what they were getting into.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

grr. I love Kurt, believe me, but lately he's been getting kind of annoying. To me, at least. The whole subplot with him trying to stand up to bullying or whatever is getting kind of old. And honestly, it sort of ended after he met Blaine. The dodgeball thing kind of really annoyed me too.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Personally I was tired of Kurt from the beginning. I can understand him being upset that he was being bullied but even if you exclude that he's always so whiny and complains about everything.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ITS EQUIVILENT TO MODERN DAY STONING!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Pssh, only if you suck at it

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Or if you actually try to play it and aren't one of those people who hides in the back.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was going to rant about how people are turning into wimps but after reading the comments above I feel like I'm missing what this post is supposed to be about. :/ Could someone please tell me who Kurt is.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Do you watch glee?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No. I'm assuming Glee had an episode about outlawing dodge ball, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, there are two glee clubs who had a dodgeball fight...It's a lot to explain but it's stupid to outlaw dodgeball

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh I see.. it is indeed stupid. I think there are a growing number of schools that are getting rid of dodge ball because it "promotes violent behavior".

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What? dodge ball is awesome. That's like outlawing Pokemon because it promotes animal cruelty

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Exactly! It's these wimpy kids who can't figure out how to 1) dodge the ball and 2) throw the ball hard and fast enough to get somebody else out. So in retaliation they go complain to their parents who in turn complain to the board of education.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ikr! I suck at throwing, but I love dodgeball still!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My school outlawed dodgeball. :( Stupid, that's like the best gym game ever

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think him trying to stop bullying is a lot better than the empty promises the other two candidates are using.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I can understand that but dodge ball can be a fun game if it's supervised and no one's being an asshole

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Even if it was supervised, I doubt the teachers would stop it if it got too intense. They don't do anything about the bullying going on there.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't think dodge ball has anything to do with bullying

by Anonymous 12 years ago

at my school we dont get real dodgeballs

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Human skulls?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

nope, foam balls

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was close

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ok what bothered me was that they have actually never brought up dodgeball in any other episode, and then all of a sudden its like ...dodgeball is ruining our school. when did they ever play dodgeball??? except before in the episode of course

by Anonymous 12 years ago

We have dodgeball at our school and ,as a matter of fact, we played today during PT. I ended up with a twisted wrist and bloody toe. But guess what? It was fun. Dodgeball sucks but it really relieves stress and builds teamwork. It's also a great cardiovascular workout (at least the way we play). We use foam balls but it's still great and they are lighter than the big ol heavy balls they used to use.
