+202"I play golf" "haha, golf isn't a real sport, fag" neither is being a douchebag, amirite?
...It's not.
Just like hunting, downhill skiing, bowling, croquet, shuffleboard, etc.
Hunting isn't, skiing is and olympic one so yes it is, bowling obviously is, croquet is of course shuffleboard is/was also olympic... 1/5
Are you serious? A sport needs to have more exercise than slight movement to be considered a sport. Saying bowling is a sport is like saying chess is a sport, or synchronized diving.
I said BY DEFINITION. Not what people think... Noun:
An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others. I think swinging a 15 lb. ball is physical exertion aaaand they are individuals... same with those other two. but hunting is much different.
Well how is golf then; even by your definition? Very, very little physical exertion.
Walking/Driving miles, precise aim, and swinging clubs into bats. Golf isn't easy, it's simple... every sport is simple no sport is easy
First of all, walking doesn't count as exercise unless you're speed walking. Also, I never said it was easy. By that logic, hunting is a sport; it's not easy but it is simple.
I never said that defined a sport. Hunting isn't against other people so it isn't a sport. and walking is exercise, it just isn't that blood pumping. Plus, what ever YOU consider is exercise does not mean it's right. Sports don't need an unreasonable amount of exercise. Golf takes mad practice anyway
"every sport is simple no sport is easy". And as for golf taking practice; so does chess. And, if you like, you do have to move your arm to move the pieces.
As for hunting not being against other people, there ARE hunting competitions. You could say the same about skiing - sometimes it's competitive, sometimes it's just for fun, not against anyone.
After a amount of time doing research hunting can be a sport, skiing... well duh, bowling of course croquet and shuffleboard are also sports... and apparently so is chess and fishing which I slightly disagree with.
If you think downhill skiing is a sport, you've never done it. Little to no exercise whatsoever.
same with gymnastics. for some reason some people don't think it's a sport
