+352 It would be cool to let a professional architect loose on the Sims 3 and see the types of buildings they create, amirite?

Why Sims //3//?

I dunno. I guess 'cause it's the latest game and thus has the most features to play around with.

I want to see what they can create in Minecraft.

I bet they'd be very technical. If the right side of the house has 7 windows, the left side must have exactly 7 windows. The front door must line perfectly with the staircase, and the rug must be correctly centered in between.

I'm not even a professional architect but that's how I am :D

Most houses aren't symmetrical... but yes they'd be technical.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Colonials are typically very symmetrical in design.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah but colonials aren't very common.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They are where I live. All the houses are either Colonials or Cape Cods.

It would be funny to let a Sim 3 addict design buildings for cities in real life, amirite?

Or build the machine that they used in inception and let them go crazy in there, and kill them when the people start attacking.

Let me get back at you in five years

on the Sims Exchange (or other custom content sites) you can download houses other people have made and some of them are pretty damn amazing

Hey... Do you mind adding this post to the new group, "Architecture"? Just trying to get the ball rolling.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Sure. No problem.
