+284 If someone eats chicken or fish, they should not be allowed to call themselves a vegetarian because the are just not eating red meat, amirite?

for chick i agree, but technically fish is protein, not meat.

but by saying your a vegetarian your saying you don't eat anything that was alive (aka anything that walks, swims, or flies, that feels pain and is aware of its actions)

Vegans don't eat anything that comes from animals, but vegetarians each have their own idea of what it means. some take it to mean just meat, others make that include fish and other animal by products.

people who eat fish but no other meat are pescetarianisms, not vegetarians, and they shouldn't be calling themselves vegetarians, and i know what a vegan is, one of my friends is one.

Lol are you serious

They aren't... Pescatarian is someone who only eats fish. People that eat chicken usually just say that they don't eat red meat, but I don't know the name for it

As a vegetarian it's easier because people understand that rather than when you say pasketarian and they have no idea what you're talking about.
