If it was perfect French wouldn't their French overpower their souther accent?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

no, pronunciation and accents are different things.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So they wouldn't develop a French accent when they perfect the language?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

not if they live in the deep south and speak with a thick accent

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well then you wouldn't speak perfect French right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

true. not perfect french.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Are you just agreeing with me so this convo can be over?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

lol no, you're right

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the proper French accent overpowers the thick southern accent. I'm from the South and the French teacher at my school has a terribly thick Southern accent and it's gone when she speaks french.
